communicatiOn b~tween the City and the Commissioners and that is part of the reason for his lack <br />of attendanc~.i ~ <br />Mr. Gromb°r$ informed Commissioner Gorecki that his attendance in 1991 was unacceptable and <br />there is reafl~ n0! need to rationalize his poor attendance. He feels poor attendance is a direct <br />reflection o/t hoar a person feels towards other members of the Commission who have made an <br />effort to be ~[ ali!meetings, and who have made recommendations to accomplish events for the <br />advancemen~t'.of ~he City. Mr. Gromberg also stated that Commissioner Gorecki has failed to <br />contact eithqr~!he(Chairperson or City Staff on whether or not he would be attending the meetings. <br />Mr. Gromb~rg sadd that he realized that business has taken up much of Commissioner Gorecki's <br />time this ye~, and that there was a lot of snow that needed plowing during the fall, however, this <br />does not exquse p~oor attendance. When Commissioner Gorecki was appointed to the Economic <br />Developme~t~Coinmission, he knew full well the responsibilities he was undertaking. He stated <br />the Commi,~_ !on has to make a recommendation to City Council regarding both Commissioners <br />Gorecki's a~d- Grcenberg's attendance. <br /> <br />Motion by ~Commissioner Thorson and seconded by Commissioner Nelson to forward a <br />recommendation,to City Council stating that Commissioners Greenberg and Gorecki should be <br />retained as ~dmbers of the Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br />Further disct~asiotl. Commissioner Nelson stated that both Commissioners should realize that they <br />are on probgOon}at this time and if they do miss three meetings, the Economic Development <br />Commissior~ Will make a recommendation that they be removed from the Commission. <br /> <br />Voting Yes: .Chairperson Wagner, Commissioners Thorson, Nelson, and Gorecki. Abstaining: <br />Commissioaet Greenberg. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Vevea, Marn, Kent and <br />Fults. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by C, o~mrni]ssioner Nelson and seconded by Commissioner Thorson to adjourn the regular <br />meeting of tho Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br />Motion card, ea. Voting Yes: Chairman Wagner, Commissioners Thorson, Nelson, Gorecki, and <br />Greenberg. ,~Votiag No: None.
