<br />ORDINANCE # 08-08 <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN interim ordinance for a moratorium <br />on conditional use permits for the <br />construction of cell towers <br />WITHIN THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The City of Ramsey Ordains: <br />SECTION 1. AUTHORITY <br />This Ordinance is adopted pursuant <br />to that authority granted to the City by <br />MSA 462.355, Subd. 4, entitled 'Interim <br />Ordinance." <br />SEalON 2. SUMMARY <br />The following is the official summary <br />of Ordinance #08-08, which has been <br />approved by the City Council of the City <br />of Ramsey as clearly informing the pub- <br />lic of the intent and effect of the ordi- <br />nance: <br />Interim Ordinance #08-08 estab- <br />lishes a moratorium on all Conditional <br />Use Permits for the construction of the <br />cell towers within the City of Ramsey. <br />The purpose of the moratorium is to <br />provide time for the City to consider <br />amendments to Section 9.15, entitled <br />'Towers', of the City Code. <br />SEalON 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />This Ordinance shall take effect upon <br />adoption and thirty (30) days after pub- <br />lication according to law, subject to <br />Charter Provision, Section 5.04. . <br />Passed by the City Council of the <br />City of Ramsey, Minnesota on the 12th <br />day of February, 2008.. <br />Thomas G.
