Case #5: Monthly Report <br /> <br />City Admi~atratOr Schroeder stated that City Council receives monthly reports from the Public <br />Works Dep _~ ant and the Police Department. He suggested that the Fire Department should give <br />either a morally gr quarterly report to the Council also. <br /> <br />Boardmem~er Kapler stated the Department has decided upon a verbal quarterly report versus a <br />written one. <br /> <br />Chief Griffin stated he has been preparing a reporting format which should be completed soon. <br /> <br />Case #4: Training Budget <br /> <br />City Admin~atrat°r Schroeder stated that recently training became an issue because of budget cuts <br />and the Fin _6'~: e ~fice just received a bill for EMT training that wasn't budgeted for. He stated the <br />training ageiada appears to have changed from what was discussed in 1991 for the 1992 fiscal year. <br /> <br />Chief GriffiO stated the bill was for an emergency medical training (EMT) and that Medics Training <br />Inc. had be~:0 asked not to bill the City at this point. He reviewed the list of trainings with the <br />Board and tiOted~which were cancelled and which were attended or were still on the agenda. He <br />stated that ho in~nds to complete the training originally budgeted if personnel are available to <br />complete th~ CoUrses. <br /> <br />BOARD INPUT <br /> <br />1) Nex¢'Fire Board Meeting <br /> <br />The next regularly scheduled Fire Board meeting is at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 26, 1992. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by ~oardmember Sharp and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion cartj'ed.
