<br />Councilmember <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-xx-nx <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INTERIM USE PERMIT TO ALLOW <br />ADDITIONAL USES AT 7550 ffiGHWAY 10 NW (DIAMONDS SPORTS BAR AND <br />GRILLE), BASED UPON FINDINGS OF FACT #xxxx AND DECLARING TERMS OF <br />SAME. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, First Class Auctions & Events (the "Permittee") has properly applied for an <br />amended conditional use permit on the property legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 1, The Diamonds, Anoka County, Minllesota <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted findings of fact related to the Permittee's <br />application by its Resolution #08-xx-xxx <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That based on the foregoing findings of fact, the City Council conclude that an Interim Use <br />Permit ("IUP) may be granted to the Permittee conditioned upon the following: <br /> <br />1) The following additional one-day uses are herby permitted on the Subject Property, in <br />addition to the conditional use permit approved in 2000: <br />a. Small scale events including Farmer's Markets, Flea Markets, and Car Shows (up <br />to twenty (20) per summer) <br />b. Large-Scale Implement Auctions (boats, cars, etc.) and Swap Meets (up to ten <br />(10) per summer) <br />c. Rodeos/bull riding (up to two (2) per summer) <br />d. Threshing Shows (up to two (2) per summer) <br /> <br />2) . The number of events is limited to two (2) per winter season (October through April) and <br />thirty-four (34) per summer season (May through September), and must,be approved by <br />the City pursuant to Permittee's schedule of events. <br /> <br />3) These one day uses shall be allowed for a five (5) year period from the date of approval of <br />this Permit. The interim use permit issued herein shall be deemed an interim use permit <br />as defined in Section 9.03.06 of City Code. City Staff will monitor the events for any <br />problems related to traffic, crowd control, noise, and other issues related to public safety. <br />An annual review and inspection of these conditions will be held by City staff, which <br />reserves the right to amend or revoke the IUP without public hearing upon such review <br />and inspection. <br /> <br />21 <br />
