<br />Mayor Gamec announced the following: <br />· He attended the Chamber State of the Cities meeting today. <br />· The North Metro Mayor's Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 13. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig announced the annual Boy Scout Fundraising Breakfast scheduled for <br />February 28 at 7:29 a.m. at Lord of Life Church. <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Nelson requested councilmembers to RSVP to staff if they will be <br />attending the Chamber Gala on February 22nd. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich indicated Case No.9 will be postponed to the February 29th special <br />City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Case #8: <br /> <br />Closed Session to Discuss Two Items: Possible Purchase of Bury and <br />Carlson Property for Future Public Works Facility and Ramsey Town <br />Center - Pending Litigation between the City of Ramsey and Minnwest Bank <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich sated the record should reflect that the Council will recess into executive <br />closed session for an attorney client meeting initially for possible consideration of purchasing <br />property owned by Bury and Carlson located at 14251 Jaspar Street Ramsey. At the conclusion <br />of this closed session meeting, Council will adjourn into another closed session with Attorney <br />Bray to discuss pending litigation between the City of Ramsey and Minn West Bank. At the <br />conclusion of this meeting, the closed session will be recessed to the public meeting for <br />adjournment. The adjournment of the public meeting will not be on cable television. Council will <br />not conduct any other business that will be open to the public after these two closed sessions. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to recess the Regular City <br />Council meeting to closed session. <br /> <br />Motion carried. V oting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Olson, Look, and <br />Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmembers Dehen and Jeffrey. <br /> <br />The regular City Council meeting was recessed to closed session at 7:43 p.m. <br /> <br />The closed session meeting of the City Council was adjourned back to the regular City Council <br />meeting at 9:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #9: <br /> <br />Consider Confirmation of Direction Given in Closed Sessions <br /> <br />Postponed to February 29,2008 Special City Council meeting. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Olson, seconded by Councilmember Look, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />P92 <br /> <br />City Council / February 12, 2008 <br />Page 12 of 13 <br />
