The municipal land is located on the western shore of the lake and
consists of approximately 6 acres. The park will generally serve the local recreational
needs of the neighborhood residences within walking distance of the park.

As a resident within 3000' feet of the park, we are inviting you specifically to meet with
our planning consultants and staff to discuss the future park and potential recreation
improvements.

The meeting will be held at 6:30 pm on March 13, 2008 at the Ramsey Municipal Center,
7550 Sunwood Drive as part of the regular Park and Recreation Commission meeting.
Should you be unable to attend, you may also submit your comments to myself in writing
at the above address, or at mriverblood0J,ci.ramsey.mn.us

The City consultants for this project, Brauer and Associates, Ltd., will present their
impressions of the park land and its opportunities and constraints. They will also ask you
to participate in the development of a list of recreation ideas for consideration in the
City's development of this public space.

Future public meetings will be held at which time Brauer and Associates will present
design plan alternatives illustrating various combinations of recreation improvements.
You are cordially invited to attend these future meetings and participate in discussion of
each alternative plan. A schedule of future public meetings will be available on the City
web site and at the meeting on March 13th.

Sincerely,
y-C -----

Mark Riverblood,
Parks Supervisor
