Paul; Terminal <br />City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Dear Jim: <br /> <br />Please find enclosed the fmal invoice and signed lien waivers for the above referenced <br />project. <br /> <br />Also attached is an invoice for $14,107.50 for the additional costs Team Earthworks <br />incurred. We were paid $24, 421.30 for the hauling and disposal of the TSCAregulated <br />soil. Our cost for hauling and disposal of the TSCA regulated waste was $38,528;80. <br />The discrepancy in cost is due to the weight of the soil and the cost to haulit.Weused <br />super sacks to load the soil into the gondolas (rail cars). When the super saCKS ate.fl.lled <br />with "nonnal" soil it should weigh approximately 5 tons. The sacks we. filled with the <br />project's soil and small debris only weighed 2.5 to 2.8 tons on average. AIlsackswere <br />filled to the fullest capacity. Unfortunately, our cost for hauling was the same no matter <br />how much each gondola weighed. Due to the lighter loads our cost per ton was <br />significantly higher than originally anticipated.
