<br />PCCASE# l <br /> <br />CONSIDER ENDING PROBATIONARY PERIOD <br />FOR THE ASSISTANT CITY ENGINEER. <br /> <br />Givonna Reed Kone, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />Tim Himmer, Assistant City Engineer, was hired by the City October 1, 2007. <br />Mr. Himmer has successfully completed the required six-month probationary period as <br />the Assistant City Engineer and the Public Works Director recommends retaining <br />Mr. Himmer as the full-time regular Assistant City Engineer. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />Based on satisfactory completion of the sixth-month probationary period, staff <br />recommends that Tim Himmer be retained as the Assistant City Engineer. <br /> <br />Funding Source <br /> <br />The Assistant City Engineer position is included in the 2008 General Fund Budget and <br />there are no additional funding implications for removing Mr. Himmer from probation. <br /> <br />Committee Action <br /> <br />Make a motion recommending that the City Council adopt a resolution ending the <br />probationary period for Tim Himmer and granting status as a full-time regular Assistant <br />City Engineer. <br /> <br />Reviewed By: I . .n <br />Kurtis G.
