River Road, NW
Coon Rapids, MN 5543

Re: Fonner St. Paul; Terminal
City of Ramsey

Dear Jim:

Please find enclosed the final invoice and signed lien waivers for the above referenced
project.

Also attached is an invoice for $14,107.50 for the additional costs Team Earthworks
incurred. We were paid $24, 421.30 for the hauling and disposal of the TSCAregulated
soil. Om cost for hauling and disposal of the TSCA regulated waste was $38';528.80.
The discrepancy in cost is due to the weight of the soil and the cost to haul.it. We used
super sacks to load the soil into the gondolas (rail cars). When the super sacks are filled
with "nonnal" soil it should weigh approximately 5 tons. The sacks we filled with the
project's soil and small debris only weighed 2.5 to 2.8 tons ,?n average. All sacks were
filled to the fullest capacity. Unfortunately, our cost for hauling was the same no matter
how much each gondola weighed. Due to the lighter loads our cost per ton was
significantly higher than originally anticipated. I believe the.additional costs are still
significantly below our original bid and as. you can see; we are not asking to make an
additional profit, just to recover additional costs we have incurred.

If you h~lVe any questions or need further infonnation, please contact me at (715)924-
1800.

Sincerely,

~.~

Gassy Siemers
.
