<br />Ms. Carrie Phillipe, 8141 153rd Lane, wondered if it is ever going to end and if the City is going <br />to uphold this, she wanted it across the entire City. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Levine, seconded by Commissioner Van Scoy, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Levine, Van Scoy, Brauer, <br />Cleveland, and Hunt. Voting No: None. Absent: Trites Rolle. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 9:18 p.m. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission back to order at 9: 18 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt stated this was too restrictive. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hunt asked how many complaints over the past two years have they had that <br />addressed these types of things besides non-working vehicles. <br /> <br />Interim Community Development Director Prolik stated the Police Department is adopting a <br />database based on the abatement program but she could not give them any numbers at this time. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt thought this steps over the bounds and goes outside the City's character. He <br />stated he would like to try to find other ways to regulate this because he could not agree with this <br />proposed Ordinance. He thought they needed to continue this item. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Van Scoy, to reopen the public hearing <br />and continue it. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Van Scoy, Brauer, Cleveland, <br />Hunt, and Levine. Voting No: None. Absent: Trites Rolle. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Request for Site Plan Review; Case of Class C Components, Inc. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt removed himself from discussion due to conflict of interest. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Interim Assistant Community Development Director Geisler stated Class C Components is a <br />parts supplies Company to medium and large manufacturers, and is looking to expand their <br />business. Their site is approximately 2.4 acres in size, and is located in the E-2 Employment <br />District; warehouse and offices uses are both permitted uses in this district. <br /> <br />Planning Commission / March 6, 2008 <br />Page 14 of 21 <br />
