<br />Commissioner Levine wondered how many people per week would be coming and going, and <br />Ms. Mastell stated she was just building her business and did not have any clients yet but thought <br />it would be between 25 and 50. <br /> <br />Commissioner Levine wondered about the other similar home occupations that were mentioned <br />in the staff letter and Associate Planner DaInes explained they have had a few similar requests <br />like this in the past and is a typical request. <br /> <br />Commissioner Van Scoy asked how many clients would be onsite at one time, andMs. Mastell <br />stated it would be one at a time and there would be adequate parking. . <br /> <br />Commissioner Brauer asked what the hours of the business would be, and Ms. Mastell indicated <br />she was not sure but would probably not start until 10:00 a.m. and the last appointment would be <br />at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Brauer, to close the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. 'voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Brauer, Cleveland, Hunt, <br />Levine, and Van Scoy. Voting No: None. Absent: Trites Rolle. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:11 p.m. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Brauer, seconded by Commissioner Van Scoy, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt Findings of Fact relating to the request for a home occupation permit. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Brauer, Van Scoy, Cleveland, <br />Hunt, and Levine. Voting No: None. Absent: Trites Rolle. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Brauer, seconded by Commissioner VanScoy, to recommend that City <br />Council grant the permit with the addition of hour to reflect Mon thru Sat 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. . <br />and allowing 25 to 50 clients per week. <br /> <br />Commissioner Levine asked if they were covered as far as sewage and hazardous waste and <br />Associate Planner DaInes stated the Fire Marshall will make sure it is in compliance. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Brauer, Van Scoy, Cleveland, <br />Hunt, and Levine. Voting No: None.
