This year we are proud to recognize the following <br />businesses and people for our Partner of Promise awards. <br /> <br />HOM FURNITURE <br /> <br />In November, YF had the opportunity to speak to the congregation at Constance Free <br />about our program and financial needs, and a representative from HOM Furniture <br />just happened to b'e in the audience. After hearing of our program successes and <br />outreach, HOM Furniture generously donated $25,000 to support the work of Youth <br />First. This enormous contribution really stands out- not just because of the amount <br />of money, but because of the dear message of support for the work we do with the <br />youth in our community. <br /> <br />PINEWSKI'S SKI SHOP <br /> <br />Pinewski's Ski Shop has worked with Youth First for the last several years to host the <br />Riverfest Skateboard competition and the Ramsey Happy Days Skateboard <br />competition. They provide judges and prizes for each of the competitions as well as <br />do the commentary and exhibitions for the event. They not only support Youth <br />First, but provide positive role models for the youth in the community. <br /> <br />MIDWEST CAR CARE <br /> <br />Midwest Car Care is our neighbor at the Ramsey Neighborhood Center. . Their <br />support of our Ramsey Neighborhood Center is quite varied. When we opened our <br />doors, we had some challenges - including not having access to the i,nternet for a <br />month. Midwest Car Care graciously allowed us access to their wireless network so <br />that we could have internet and e-mail - which was very important for our daily <br />operations.
