-106- <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF THE <br />ACCOUNTANT 1 <br />WHEREAS, the Accountant 1 has submitted a letter of resignation effective April 28, <br />2008; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has requested authorization to begin the recruitment process for a new <br />Accountant I. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br />Accepts staff s recommendation to accept the resignation of the Accountant I and direct staff to <br />begin the recruitment process to fill the Accountant I position. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member, <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 22 day of April 2008. <br />
