Background <br />CONSIDER ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD <br />FOR A PAID ON -CALL FIRE FIGHTER <br />Givonna Reed Kone, Human Resources Manager <br />PC CASE # e� <br />In 2006, the City conducted a recruitment process for paid on -call Fire Fighters. On <br />December 13, 2006 Mr. Chad Hayft was hired as a City of Ramsey Fire Fighter Mr. Hayft <br />has successfully completed his probationary period, including all necessary training as of <br />April 22, 2008. <br />Funding Source <br />This paid on call Fire Fighter position was approved as part of the 2007 General Fund Budget. <br />There are 110 additional funding implications associated with removing Mr. Hayft from <br />probation. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Based on satisfactory completion of Mr. Hayft's probationary period, staff recommends that <br />the Mr. Hayft be retained as a paid on -call Fire Fighter. <br />Committee Action <br />Make a motion recommending that the City Council adopt a resolution ending the <br />probationary period and granting status as paid on -call Fire Fighter to Mr. Chad Hayft <br />effective April 22, 2008. <br />CC 04 -22-08 <br />Reviewed By: <br />Ats <br />, City Administrator <br />
