Ms. <br />Frolik off¢~ alternatives to the proposed rezonings at the January 7, 1992 Planning and Zoning <br />Commissid/nime~ting which included merging Industrial and Rural Industrial and Bo 1 Business <br />and Rural Bt~siriess. The Planning and Zoning Commission agreed with that alternative and <br />recommend?41~, a~lopting findings of fact and denying the rezoning of properties outside the urban <br />area to Rur~tl~Bu~iness and rural Industrial. Vr'0.t~ng No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~e7: Ptiblic Hearing for the Abatement of Nuisance for F & R Enterprises <br /> <br />City Administrator stated a motion had been made at the public heating held tonight to continue the <br />hearing on ~e al~atement of the nuisance on property owned by F & R Enterprises to Tuesday, <br />February 25, ~1992. <br /> <br />Case #8: I~roduce Ordinance Amending Chapter 7 of the City Code Entitled <br /> : Charitable Gambling and Bingo <br /> <br />Mayor Gilb~..soa-tumed the meeting over to Councilmember Peterson. <br /> <br />City Adminis~rat0~r Schroeder stated that the City adopted ordinance amendments to the section of <br />the City Co~reg'grding charitable gambling and bingo. At that time, the ordinance proposed that <br />100% of th~ ~expenditures would have to be spent in the trade area surrounding the City of <br />Ramsey. V~Ou~ charitable groups were present at the meeting and expressed concern with the <br />100% figure, i Silace then Staff has arbitrarily reduced that number to 25% and are asking for <br />Council's re~endation on what that number should actually be.
