He stated that he has had discussions
with Police Chief Way on whether additional police coverage is necessary.

Police Chief Way stated that because there is a track record wi.~h this event, staff has determined
that no additional.police coverage is needed for the Tribute to the Troops event. He stated that
he would like leeway from the Council to work with the applicant to determine whether the bull
riding event will require additional officers.

Councilmember Dehen stated that one document states the bull riding event will be from 7:00 to
10:00 p.m. and another document states that it will be from 7:00 pm. to 10:30 p.m. and asked
which was correct.

Mr. Gruber stated that the gates will open at 5:00 p.m. for children's activities, but the actual bull
riding event will be from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

City Council!
