Chairperson McDilda advised that he could make the posters for the booth. He stated that he
would like all the Board Members to get their information to him by the end of this week for the
posters to be made. He explained that he would need two posters from Board Member Max on
the natural resources inventory, one from Board Member Stodola on the water quality, and then
he would do the EPB title and explanation for the middle and also put something together for the
wetland buffers.

Environmental Coordinator advised that they could include the official municipal wetland
management classification map and that he could print out a copy of it for the Board.

Chairperson McDilda advised that if Environmental Coordinator Anderson had a problem with
that to let him know and he would get it made into the right size.

Board Member Sibilski questioned if they could have one or two hardcopies of the natural
resources inventory at the booth to show people.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson advised that he could make a couple copies available but
stated that they would have to make sure that no one walked off with them.

Board Member Sibilski suggested that they provide a copy of the EPB work plan for the public
to review what they are going to be doing this year.

Board Member Freeburg liked that idea and thought that it would be good to get that information
out there.

Board Member Max stated that it is important to show what they are doing and why they are in
existence. He explained that while doing the Master Naturalist class he has encountered many
people who are active in the environment and did not even know that the Board existed.

Chairperson McDilda stated that they should also include the dates that the EPB meets and
advise the public that they are open meetings that can be attended.

Board Member Max and Board Member Stodola decided that they would get together on Friday,
April 18th to setup the EPB booth for the Expo.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson advised that he is also trying to put together a brochure or
advertisement for the Arbor Day event to have at the Expo. He stated that he is also trying to put
together a questionnaire for the public to give their feedback on the Expo and to find out if
people were satisfied with the things that were offered this year. He questioned if it would be
okay to have the questionnaire at the EPB booth.

Board Member Sibilski thought that it would be a good way to initiate interaction with people.

Board Member Max thought that they should follow the Ramsey3 example and have people tell
them what they like most about Ramsey's environmental footprint and what they would like to
see more of. He explained that it might give them some useful information for the future.

Board Member Stodola questioned what the possibility would be of having their handouts
printed on recycled paper.
Environmental Policy Board / April 7, 2008
Page 6 of9
