Board Member Max stated that Board Member Stodola had a lot of dos' and don'ts' for water
conservation and suggested that they do the best and worst practices and on the left do wetlands
and.the right they could do water conservation. He explained that the wetland information has
already been completed from the previous Expo and the water conservation information just
needs to be edited down. He stated that with little effort they could also have a two-sided
handout.

Board Member Freeburg suggested that they spell out Environmental Policy Board instead of
abbreviating it, so that people know what the Board is.

Board Member Sibilski advised that they should also have the natural resources inventory on
display since that is something that the people have not really seen before.

Board Member Max advised that he would have a couple of maps and graphs and could take up a
third of the display board with that information.

Chairperson McDilda advised that he would do the title for the display board and thought that
they should also have a section on what the Board does and why they exist. He explained that he
has fielded a lot of questions on why the Board is there and what they do and thought that it was
important to explain that to people.

Board Member Bentz questioned how they were going to use the display board, he thought it
would be too tall to put on top of the table.

Chairperson McDilda advised that from his experience if the Board Members just sit behind the
table no one would come to talk with them.

Board Member Max advised that if they put the display board on the floor some of the
information would be too low and if they put it on the table some of the information would be
too high.

Chairperson McDilda advised that he could find or build a stand about two feet high for the
display board.

Board Member Freeburg advised that he probably had the information at home that they used at
the prior Expo on the wetlands. He stated that he would look for it and get it back to
Environmental Coordinator Anderson.

Board Member Max advised that he would need someone with a truck to pickup the display from
the Tree Trust on Thursday or Friday.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson advised that he could probably use a City vehicle on
Thursday if need be. He questioned the dimensions of the exhibit and if Board Member Max
would like the display near the EPB booth.

Board Member Max stated that the display is about five feet by two feet and stands alone on its
own legs. He explained that it would be easier to have the display near the EPB booth so that he
would be able to talk to people about it.

Environmental Policy Board / April 7, 2008
Page 5 of9
