ADOPT ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 3.40.02 SUED. 1, NUMBER 7 <br />(LAWFUL GAMBLING FUND) OF CITY CODE <br />By Heidi A. Nelson, Assistant City Administrator <br />Background: <br />Council discussed a proposed amendment to the City Code with regard to the Lawful Gambling <br />Fund at a work session on April 15, 2008. The amendment is as follows: On an annual basis, at <br />least seventy (70) percent of the funds in the Lawful Gambling Fund shall be allocated for <br />expenditures for recreation, community and athletic facilities. Council introduced the ordinance <br />during approval of the Consent Agenda on April 22.
