Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case /14: ~ Receive Bids and Award Contract for Improvement Project 4191.14 <br /> (Wood pond Projects Street Construction and Central Park Parking <br /> Lot Paving) <br /> <br />City Engin~' Jalnkowski stated that Improvement Project//91-14 involves providing the curb, <br />gutter, streot:and trail improvements to the Wood Pond Projects subdivision. In addition, an <br />alternate bid wasi solicited for the paving of the Central Park parking lot, since both projects are <br />primarily p~t~ing projects. He stated that funding the parking lot paving would come from the <br />$40,000 earia!a?' k~ for this project in the 1992 Parks and Recreation budget funded from the Park <br />Trust Fund. <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer expressed concern with the budget cuts and felt it would be better to wait to <br />find out the e~:actState Aid cuts before money is spent on paving Central Park's parking lot. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilb$~sotl pointed out the money was earmarked for this project and would be taken from <br />the Park and Rec~ation budget and not the general fund. <br /> <br />Motion by C0unailmember Peterson and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to adopt Resolution//92- <br />04-067 rec~Vin§ bids and awarding contract for Improvement//91-14 (extension of street <br />improveme~S for~ Chestnut Hills, Chestnut Pond, Cedar Hills and Windemere Woods Additions). <br /> <br />Motion cardexl~..Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Hardin and <br />Zimmermam :Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by C0um:ilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to table Central <br />Park's porti0n~ of paving and make the decision at the next meeting based on the the fact that the <br />City does not know where it stands yet with regard to State Aid. <br /> <br />Motion cardexl.
