COUNCIL~ BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case gl: Presentation to City Assessor John Keefe <br /> <br />City Admini~tra~r Schroeder stated that City Assessor John Keefe has vastly improved procedures <br />and assessment gractices in both the commercial and residential areas of the City of Ramsey. ,_H,e <br />stated that both ithe City of Ramsey and the County of Anoka have benefitted by Mr. Keefe s <br />presence a~d that he should be recognized and applauded for his efforts and positive contributions <br />to the City. <br /> <br />City Assessor John Keefe was presented with a resolution recognizing his abilities. <br /> <br />Motion by Coun¢ilmember Hardin and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to adopt Resolution 4/92-05- <br />093 recognizing the contributions of City Assessor John Keefe. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Beyer, Peterson and <br />Zimmerman..Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: Request to Move in a Single Family Dwelling to Lot 1, Block 2, <br /> Alpaca Estates 3rd Addition; Case of Dennis Christiansen <br /> <br />Zoning Adm~islxator Frolik stated that Dennis Christiansen is requesting approval to move in a <br />single famiIy~ rambler-type dwelling with attached garage and an accessory garage onto Lot 1, <br />Block 2, Alpaca Estates 3rd Addition. The structures have received a satisfactory inspection by <br />Building O~Cial~Glyn Huff. Ms. Frolik stated that the City has a signed statement on file from <br />Haakon Jattnes of the Alpaca Estates Partnership indicating that the structure meets the <br />requirements of the subdivision covenants. <br /> <br />Council reviewed the findings of fact. <br /> <br />Motion by COuneilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt Resolution <br />//92-05-094 adopting Findings of Fact #0310 relating to a request from Dennis Christiansen to <br />move in a dwelling and accessory structure onto Lot 1, Block 2, Alpaca Estates 3rd Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Beyer, Peterson, Hardin and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Cotlncilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt Resolution <br />/t92-05-095 ~tpproving the request from Dennis Christiansen to move structures onto Lot 1, Block <br />2, Alpaca Estates 3rd Addition and declaring terms of development permit. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Beyer, Peterson, Hardin and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />'Highway #10 Sewer and Water Change Order No. 1 and First Partial <br />PaYment <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson named the meeting over to Councilmember Peterson. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that the Highway #10 Sewer and Water Project was awarded in <br />November 199t at,the bid price of $138,150.20. At the present time, the project is complete with <br />the exception of fiaal pavement and turf restoration. The change order referred to is as follows: 1) <br />During the co'se of the project, J.R.'s Saloon indicated a desire to have a two-inch copper service <br />provided in lieu of the one-inch service specified in the bid.
