Case #8:~ Appointment of Police Sergeant <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that the Personnel Committee reviewed this case and <br />recommend~xt that City Council ratify the recommendation of the Police Chief, which was to <br />appoint Pa~ Officer David Gustafson to the position. <br /> <br />Motion by ~our~gilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to appoint Patrol <br />Officer David G~stafson to the position of Police Sergeant. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Hardin and <br />Zimmennan.' Adopt Ordinance Amending Chapter 2 of the Ramsey City Code <br /> Entitled Council, Boards and Commissions <br /> <br />City Admin!skat°r Schroeder stated the ordinance amending Chapter 2 of the Ramsey City Code <br />entitled "Cot~tlcil,Boards and Commission" was introduced at the April 28, 1992 Council meeting. <br />At that time~ on a3-2 vote, Council recommended changing Section 2.03.04 in order to designate <br />that members ~of commissions must all be residents of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion by C0uneilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt ordinance <br />g92-04 ametl4ing Chapter 2, Section 2.03.04 of the Ramsey City code entitled "Council, Boards <br />and CommiSsionS". <br /> <br />Motion carried.
