The plat is a subsequent phase of the preliminary plat approval
granted to N0rtht'ork 5th Addition. Northfork 5th Addition consisted of 430 acres proposed to be
developed with 120 single family lots and the golf course. The first phase, Northfork Links,
platted the g6~If cOurse and 14 single family lots. This second phase of Northfork 5th, Northfork
Links 2nd Addition, proposes to plat two more single family lots. She added the construction of
an east/west stree-t off of Andrie Street N.W. is required to service the two lots. In accordance
with the proliminary plat approved on May 22, 1990, the street pavement width will be 29 feet
versus the standard 31 feet. The street name may also vary form the City's grid pattern and is
proposed to be named St. Andrews Lane N.W.

Councilmember Hardin expressed concern with varying from the standard of 31 feet width for
streets.

Dennis Peck, No~h Fork, Inc., stated the narrower width was requested to make the street appear
more like a:c'ountry lane and it is not a main road. Mr. Peck stated that all these issues were
addressed at. t~e preliminary plat stage and agreed upon with the previous Council and suggested it
was only fair io expect continuity with the present Council.

City Council/September 8, 1992
