My address is indeed Garnet S1. This has confused virtually every new
comer to my house. The front of the house faces Garnet. I would like to
make this change at tbis time and be able use my street address as intended,
as would be more appealing to the property, to the neighborhood. My pole
barn access has been onto "Garnet St." these past 8 years. I use it daily, I
have never had any access problems. My neighbor's house faces Garnet S1.
also. For over 15 years there has never been a problem of access. Together
we have graveled, plowed, maintained and kept accessible our little section
of "Gamet St." We pay our share of taxes along with all Ramsey residents
who otherwise benefit from their street side properties. We have never
asked the city for help.

I appreciate the city's concern for our safety and requiring maintained
access to the property. As a comer lot there will always be access from
16ih. The fence will have a gate to access my mailbox, the driveway is a
mere thirty feet from 167th. My neighbor and I dutifully keep our driveways
as well as Garnet S1. clear of snow buildup. I am far more concerned about
imminent hazards dueto a busier, faster, streamlined 167th.

This past year I have seen much change in our neighborhood. From a house
on multiple acres to multiple houses on one acre. Our streets are tom up,
our traffic increased. Semi rural has become semi urban. Those who went
to city hall to voice concern were only told what would happen. Deals had
already been made before "discussions" became public. Long established
zoning rules were changed overnight. The master plan was set in motion,
nothing would stop it. I'm sorry, I am trying to "get over it". I am trying to
adapt to today's reality. All I ask is permission to build a fence and change
my driveway so I can have a safer yard and better access. Could this not
somehow fit into the master plan.

Srnc~el~ ~~ ~

Tony & Trudy Lee
L-e d -16 s - '-f 3 '7- 06 2r (
16685 Gamet S1.

C G.
