Motion by C0uncilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt Resolution <br />~92-10-261 d~clai'ing Findings of Fact #0324 relating to Mr. Dubat's request for a conditional use <br />permit. <br /> <br />Motion carri ~e~l. ~oting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Peterson, Beyer and <br />Zimmerman. !Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Co~uncilmember Hardin and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to adopt Resolution #92-10- <br />262 approving t~e issuance of a conditional use permit to Mr. William Dubats, based on the <br />findings of fa~t, and declaring terms of same. <br /> <br />Motion carded. ¥oting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Beyer, Peterson and <br />Zimmermam IVofing No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: Park Stewardship Recognition Proposal <br /> <br />City Adminisgrator Schroeder stated that the Park and Recreation Commission has been working <br />on an Ado@t~a-~ark and similar programs encouraging and recognizing volunteers in the <br />community. The Commission is proposing a more formal fashion of providing recognition and are <br />asking for Council's consent. It is a three tiered recognition program that goes as follows: 1) <br />Present voltlnitee~ with a personalized certificate upon the completion of the activity; 2) The <br />volunteer wo01d be acknowledged publicly via the Ramsey Resident Newsletter and Cable TV. <br />This also w4uld occur near the time of the activity's completion; and 3) An official <br />announcement, an~nually, which would include all volunteers. This would be done in conjunction <br />with .the EnViyonmental Expo and Arbor Day celebration and also possibly at a City Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Cauncilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt the three- <br />tier recognifi4n p~ogram proposed by the Park and Recreation Commission and to authorize the <br />expenditure of fuflds from the parks supplies budget, and that this format be utilized retroactively <br />to the beginning of 1992. <br />Further discu,qsion: Councilmember Hardin asked that Council be made aware of the volunteers <br />also. <br /> <br />Motion cardetl. He stated he <br />has not receive~l afiy other objections to the projects. <br />Motion by Cognci, lmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to adopt Resolution <br />#92-10-263 a{lopfing assessments for Improvement Project #89-18 - Street Improvements for <br />Waco Street h!.Wi between 149th Avenue N.W. and 150th Avenue N.W. <br />Motion carrie~t.
