The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: <br />Members Absent: <br />Also Present: <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />City Administrator Kurt Ulrich <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Community Development Director Amber Miller <br />Police Chief James Way <br />Management Intern Timothy Gladhill <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:03 p.m., <br />followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Councilmember Olson. <br />PRESENTATIONS AND RECOGNITION JAKE DEITCHLER <br />Mayor Gamec stated that the City of Ramsey would like to honor Jake Deitchler for his <br />outstanding wrestling accomplishments and express support for his quest for the Olympics. He <br />asked Councilmember Dehen, a former wrestler, and Coaches Todd Springer and Brandon <br />Paulson to join Mr. Deitchler at the podium. He read aloud Resolution #08 -05 -089, Recognizing <br />Ramsey Resident and Anoka High School Senior, Jake Deitchler for His Outstanding Wrestling <br />Achievements and Supporting Him in His Quest for the Olympics. <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Dehen, to adopt Resolution #08 -05 -089, <br />Recognizing Ramsey Resident and Anoka High School Senior, Jake Deitchler for His <br />Outstanding Wrestling Achievements and Supporting Him in His Quest for the Olympics. <br />City Council / May 27, 2008 <br />Page 2 of 15 <br />
