-56 <br />Coucnilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #08 -06 -0 <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY'S RATES AND CHARGES BY <br />ESTABLISHING A FEE FOR ADMINISTRATIVE HOME OCCUPATION PERMITS <br />AND REQUESTS FOR ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS <br />WHEREAS, on May 13, 2008, the City of Ramsey amended Ramsey City Code Chapter <br />9 (Zoning and Subdivision of Land), Section 9.11.04 Home Occupations, delegating authority to <br />City Staff to review and approve certain types of home occupations administratively; and <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to amend the official list of Rates and Fees to include a <br />permit fee for Home Occupation Permits issued administratively; and <br />WHEREAS, that Section 9.03.09 (Administrative Appeals) provides the opportunity for <br />persons that dispute City Staff's interpretation of City Code to apply for an Administrative <br />Appeal at the Board of Appeals and that City Council shall act as the Board of Appeals; and <br />WHEREAS, the official City's official list of Rates and Charges does not establish a fee for <br />request for. Administrative Appeals. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED. BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That the City of Ramsey hereby amends the official list of Rates and Charges, as adopted <br />by City Council on November 27, 2007, to include the following fees: <br />a) Administrative Home Occupation Permit - $200.00 <br />b) Administrative Appeal - $100.00 <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 10 day of June, 2008. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />Mayor <br />
