<br />The subject property is approximately 2.3 acres in size and is zoned R-l: Rural Developing. City <br />Code allows a maximum of2,200 square feet of accessory structure space on a parcel of this size. <br />The applicant currently has one 830 square feet attached garage and a 240 square foot accessory <br />structure, for a total of 1,070 square feet. The applicant is proposing to add another 1,700 square <br />foot accessory structure, which would bring the total amount of garage space to 2,770 square <br />feet. This is a 570 square foot overage in allowable accessory structure space. <br /> <br />Staff recommends removing the existing 240 square feet accessory structure currently on the <br />property if this CUP is approved.
