Four-page Implementation Plan <br /> <br />,More information will be presented at the meeting. <br /> <br />Funding: <br /> <br />The funding would be from the Park Trust Fund; utilizing both the remaining balance of the <br />$30,000 plalUling allocation and the $300,000 park improvement projection. (The two relevant <br />pages ofthe CIP are also attached.) <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends approval of the Sunfish Lake Master Plan; and that staff be authorized to <br />negotiate a contract with Brauer and Associates to move the park plans through the process of <br />schematic and design development, and preparation of specifications and bidding documents. <br />Upon completion, the Park and Recreation Commission and City Council would be asked to <br />approve these plans and specifications to go out to bid. ~ <br /> <br />It is anticipated that all of the above activity can be performed contractually for less than <br />$30,000. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt the Sunfish Lake Master Plan; and authorize staff to negotiate a contract with <br />Brauer and Associates, at a not-to-exceed amount of $30,000 to move the park plans through the <br />process of preparation of specifications and bidding documents as presented, pursuant to the <br />2008 Parks Capital Improvement program. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: n...I I <br />Acting City Administrator rJ::::J · ~ . f.v.-J\ <br />Director of Public Works/Principal City Engineer <br /> <br />CC: 06/24/08 <br /> <br />-336- <br />
