COMMIS$iON BUSINESS <br />Case #1: ' Request for Sketch Plan Review of Bury and Carlson Addition, a <br /> : ~ Igl]nor Subdivision; Case of Bury and Carlson, Inc. <br /> <br />Zoning Adm{nisl;rator Frolik stated that Bury and Carlson is requesting sketch plan review of a <br />minor subdi~dsio~ in the Business Warehouse District. <br />CommissioB~r I-~ndriksen inquired why Staff is recommending that the road easement for the <br />possible fut~e eStension of 143rd be dedicated as an outlot instead of a road. Ms. Frolik replied <br />that the City t~n~neer prefers not to require dedication of unimproved streets that will show up as <br />improved st~, ts :0n the City map. <br /> <br />Commissions Hendriksen stated he would like to see the access to the cemetery as an outlot. <br /> <br />The consenSUs of the Commission was that it would be unduly burdensome to require an outlot to <br />the cemetery. <br /> <br />Chairperson 1~_ aw~den and Commissioners Holland and Deemer stated they had no problem with the <br />easement, r ~ <br /> <br />Motion by C0_mn~.ssioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to recommend that City <br />Council gran~final plat approval to Bury and Carlson Addition, a minor subdivision. <br /> <br />Motion carrifftd. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Holland, Deemer, Henddksen <br />and LaDue.' V'otihg No: None. Absent: Commissioners Terry and Thorud. <br /> <br />Case #2: : Review Final Plat for River Bluffs Planned Unit Development <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Council approved a revised preliminary plat for River <br />Bluffs base~ ,fin the Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation and their request for an <br />opportunity ;t~ revTiew the proposed final plat. <br /> <br />City Engine. et Jankowski explained there are no major discrepancies between the preliminary and <br />final plat. ~ <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to recommend that City <br />Council grant',fin~ plat approval to the first phase of River Bluffs. <br /> <br />Motion carriett. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, Hendriksen <br />and LaDue. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Terry and Thorud. <br /> <br />Case #3: :Request for Site Plan Review; Case of Skelgas, Inc. <br /> <br />Zoning Adr~inisttator Frolik stated that Skelgas, Inc. is requesting site plan review to construct a <br />1,280 square!foOt building to provide indoor space for filling propane cylinders. Skelgas is <br />acquiring th~ _~djacent parcel to the west of their existing parcel at 7255 Highway #10 and the new <br />building woill~l bo built on that newly acquired parcel. <br />The Planningiand~ Zoning Commission reviewed and discussed the City Staff letter dated July 28, <br />1992. <br /> <br />Motion by COmmissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to recommend that <br />City Counciliapprove the site plan for the Skelgas expansion contingent upon the applicant <br /> <br /> Planning and Zoning Commission/August 4, 1992 <br /> Page 2 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
