Jerry Martin, 14021 Basalt Street N.W., Ramsey - stated he is also across from Danny's <br />Aluminum t>t~oce, Ssing. He stated he is in agreement with Mr. Brown's statements and added that <br />Mr. Karst has b~n accepting other materials for quite some time. He stated that Mr. Karst is <br />"great ,o,n l~rbmi~es and short on delivery". He added that Mr. Karst's operation is "spilling <br />outside' his[ 4onthinment such as the loading and unloading of trucks off the premises. There are <br />dumpsters and t~es on the boulevard, plus the retaining wall had not been maintained until last <br />Saturday. tie q~stioned what a conditional use permit was good for if it was not enforced. He <br />felt that a ser@p dealer is a junk yard and if maintained as such, the City of Ramsey doesn't need it. <br />He suggestq, d thg a person should be allowed outside storage but added there is a right and wrong <br />way to do ill. ? Mrs. Martin stated he has been approached by other people about the Industrial Park <br />and he tells~.therdto "just look around" and asks them if they "want to be located here". He stated <br />he has noth'mg~~ against Mr. Karst personally, but against his manner of operation and policing of it. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, LaDue, <br />Terry and T. h6rud. Voting No: None.
