<br />Councilmember Dehen stated that also discussed at the Public Works Committee meeting was <br />trying to pick out sections of the City to prioritize getting concryte curb and gutter. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig stated that they also asked staff to take a look at creating a policy to <br />determine when it makes sense to reconstruct when an overlay won't work anymore. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec. stated that the City needs to look long range. He noted that traffic on this section <br />is no where near the traffic on 167th Avenue, Sunwood Drive or Dy~prosium. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig stated that the only one of these roads that is ready for construction is <br />Dysprosium, so when they are ready, this project will be built and paid for, so there will be funds <br />available. He stated that the MSA funds are perpetual, so he does not see a problem. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he is just concerned with what will happen in a few years. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen stated that the Public Works Committee also discussed whether sewer <br />and water would be coming through the areas being considered for concrete curb and gutter. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that with sewer and water there are charter issues to consider. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated the feasibility study can move forward and no decision needs to <br />be made tonight. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig suggested that staff take a look at future MSA needs for the new few years <br />and report back to the Council. <br /> <br />MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />The Work Session of the City Council was adjourned at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />~ r; uIJ <br /> <br />Kurtis G.
