<br />permanently and has not received a. permanent sign permit and/or IS not intended to be <br />constructed per the State Building Code. <br /> <br />a. Duration: Temporary signs shall be permitted for up to six weeks per <br />year per parcel, or per business on multi-tenant business parcels. The six-week limit may be <br />extended up to four weeks if there have been no sign violations in the past year by the entity who <br />erects the sign. <br /> <br />b. Location: Temporary signs must be located fully on private property, <br />with the permission of the property owner. The city will remove any signs in the public right-of- <br />way, or erected without permission from the property owner. <br /> <br />c. Number: All properties are limited to two temporary signs per parcel. In <br />locations where there are multiple businesses on one parcel (a multi-tenant facility), three signs <br />are permitted. <br /> <br />d. Size: Temporary signs shall be limited to 50 square feet in size. <br /> <br />e. Fee: All temporary signs are exempt from. permitting and fees. The <br />provisions of the ordinance apply to all temporary signs, and appropriate penalties for violations <br />will be assessed, as outlined in Section 9.12.21. <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. Balloons, Gas Filled Figures, Streamers, Whirling <br />Devices and Revolving Searchlights or any such attention-getting device that is not specifically <br />a sign may be permitted up to four weeks per year, for one week at a time. <br /> <br />9.12.06 District Regulations. In addition to those signs permitted or required in all <br />districts as described in 99.12.03 (General Provisions) and 99.12.05 (Temporary Signs), the <br />following signs are permitted in each specific district and shall be regulated as to size, location <br />and character according to the requirements herein set forth. <br /> <br />9.12.07 <br /> <br />Residential Type Districts <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. Area Identification Signs.
