Absent: Nixt. <br /> <br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />The following Council minutes were noted: <br /> <br />1) City Council Regular meeting minutes dated April 22, 2008 <br />2) City Council Regular meeting minutes dated May 13,2008 <br /> <br />Commissioner VanScoy stated in regards to the proposed ordinance to amend off street parking <br />regulations on page 17, there was a statement about the Planning Commission having some <br />confusion about the ordinance and he understood there will be a worksession to further discuss <br />this issue and is the Planning Commission invited to that worksession to clarify the confusion. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Frolik indicated the worksession was last Tuesday. <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Levine stated he struggled in trying to determine where they were not direct in <br />their approach to what they were thinking. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Frolik stated the reason for the worksession was <br />because the City Council is engaged in a debate as to whether or not to try to control the number <br />of vehicles and equipment parked outside by numbers rather than by operability and whether or <br />not to try the abatement program a little longer. The worksession was not to debate the Planning <br />Commissions' concern with the ordinance. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS/COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Exceed Accessory Structure Space <br />Requirements; Case of Ronald & Sandra Borell <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Levine closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at 7:06 <br />p.m. in order to call the public hearing to order. <br /> <br />Public Hearin2 <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Levine called the public hearing to order at 7:06 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Management Intern Gladhill stated that the City received an application from Ronald Borell for a <br />conditional use permit to exceed the total amount of accessory building space allowed on the <br />property located at 8148 155th Lane NW. <br /> <br />Planning Commission/June 5, 2008 <br />Page 2 of 12 <br />
