9. Consider maximum brightness levels that correlate to ambient (day or night condition; <br />lighting of surrounding contea~t) light levels. Consider a requirement for a ~~,~ritten certification .from the sign manufacturer that the <br />individual sign's maximum light intensity has been preset not to exceed the maximum <br />daytime illumination levels established by the code; and that the maxximum intensity level <br />is protected from end user manipulation by password protected softz~~are or other method <br />. approved by the appropriate city official <br />11. Require sign owners to provide an accurate field method of ensuring that maximum light <br />levels are not exceeded.
