Resolution <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF IVIINNESOTA <br />APPROVING A PERMIT APPLICATION FOR TWIN CITIES NORTH <br />CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO ALLOW CHARITABLE GAMBLING AT <br />THE LINKS AT NORTHFORK <br />Whereas, Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce, has requested that Council <br />allow them to conduct .charitable. gambling in a fundraising raffle format at The Links at <br />Northfork; and <br />Whereas, the Gambling Control Board requires that the local unit of government <br />(city of county) pass a resolution specifically approving or denying to requests to conduct <br />charitable gambling; and <br />Whereas, the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce is in compliance with all <br />requirements of the Ramsey Municipal Code with regard to charitable gambling <br />regulations; and <br />Whereas, it is the desire of the City of Ramsey to assist in the economic <br />prosperity of local business owners. <br />Now, therefore, be it resolved that the Ramsey Council does herby authorize <br />Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce to conduct charitable gambling in raffle format <br />at The Links at Northfork. <br />Adopted on , 2008 <br />City Administrator <br />-64- <br />
