C-9 Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTICN #08-07-~YX _ RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 2N° FAR'TIAL FAYIVTENT TO STANDARD SIDEWALK, INC FOR IP 08-24 SUN'~VOOD DRIVE STREETSCAPE WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the advertisement for bids for the above-referenced work on March 11, 2008; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for TP 08-24 Sunwood Drive Streetscape, bids were received, opened and tabulated:according to law on April 18, 2008; and W~IEREAS, Public Worlcs Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Standard Sidewalk, Inc. in the amount of 5162,971,60. WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recon:imends partial payment to Standard Sidewalk, Inc. in the amount. of 589,018.92. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RA.MSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Standard Sidewalk Inc. for Improvement Project 08-24 Sunwood Drive Streetscape in the amount of $89,018.92. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of July 22, 2008. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
