Funding: <br />The activities of the Ramsey3 initiative were funded by a grant from the McKnight Foundation: <br />Recommendation: <br />Council action is to receive the final report, vision and value statements and respond with <br />resolutions acknowledging the significance of the efforts of the Ramsey3 steering committee, <br />community residents and the Working Group. <br />The Ramsey3 Steering Committee did present a summary of the Firial Report, Vision and Values <br />Statement, to the Planning Commission on August 7. The Planning Commission is requesting <br />guidance from City Council relating to how the recommendations of the Ramsey3 should be <br />utilized by the Planning Commission fox planning purposes, including the 2008 Comprehensive <br />Plan and beyond. <br />Council Action: <br />Motion by Councilmember and seconded by Councilmember to adopt <br />Resolution #08-08-_ acknowledging the efforts of the participants in the Ramsey3 project and <br />receiving the Final Report, Vision and Values Statement. <br />-and- <br />Motion by Councilmember -and seconded by Councilmember to adopt <br />Resolution #08-08-_ acknowledging the significance of the Ramsey3 Steering Committee: <br />Review Checklist: <br />City Administrator <br />Community Development Dir ctor <br />CC: 8/12/08 <br />-188- <br />
