<br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />APPOINTING AN AGENT OF RECORD FOR <br />LIFE AND DISABILITY INSURANCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is committed to providing a competitive <br />benefits package to its employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, competitively priced benefits are essential to effectively compete <br />for quality employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council appoint Ochs, Inc. as the <br />City's agent of record for life and disability insurance. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey appoints Ochs, Inc. as its agent of <br />record for life and disability benefits. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 26th day of August, 2008. . <br /> <br />-110- <br />
