<br />5.09 <br /> <br />Animals and Fowl <br /> <br />5.09.01 <br /> <br />Keeph1g of Certain Animals, Livestock and Poultry <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. <br /> <br />Defmitions. <br /> <br />Pony~A horse that does not exceed 54 inches or 13.2 hands in height. <br /> <br />Subd.2. Prohibited Animals None of the following animals shall be <br />,maintained on any parcel ofland in the City that is not at least 3.0 acres (130,6~0 square feet) in <br />size: horses, llamas, cows, mules, donkeys, bUITows, ponies, goats, pigs, sheep, lambs, turkey, <br />geese, chickens, and ducks. <br /> <br />Subd. 3. Animal Unit. Animal unit is defined as a measure used to <br />compare differences in production of animal wastes. Permitted Animals. Non-traditional or exotic <br />animals are those which are not normally considered to be domesticated but are not wild animals <br />as defined in Section 5.09.06, A person may keep a non-traditional or exotic animal as defined <br />herein only upon issuance of a conditional use permit in accordance with Section 9.03.04.
