Thus, the applicants are requesting a variance to <br />construct an accessory building with sidewalls that are thirteen and a half (13.5) feet tall (3.5 feet <br />taller than permitted by code) to accommodate a twelve (12) foot garage door, header and door <br />hardware. . <br /> <br />The overall height of accessory buildings is a~so regulated by City Code. For parcels less than <br />two (2) acres, the mean gable height is limited- to sixteen (16) feet.
