<br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-09 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING STAFF TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH <br />RIDGE ROCKER ROOFING FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE SmNGLE <br />ROOFS AT THE CENTRAL PARK FACILITIES <br /> <br />, WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey experienced hail damage to several facilities <br />and vehicles on May 25th, 2008 due to a severe thunderstorm; and . <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the League of Minnesota Cities has reviewed all city facilities for <br />storm damage following the May 25th storm event; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the roofs on the three buildings at Central Park were severely <br />damaged by hail and require replacement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, city staff has secured three (3) quotes for the replacement of the <br />roofs on the three buildings and has checked references and reviewed the bid with the <br />low bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes Staff to Enter into a <br />Contract with Ridge Rocker Roofing for the Replacement of the Shingle Roofs at <br />the Central Park Facilities. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 8th day of September, ~008. <br /> <br />-90- <br />
