<br />The 'applicant is proposing to vacate the existing road 'easement leading to King's Island. This <br />easement was originally intended to construct So road to pw;cels along the river on King's Island. <br />Staff met with representatives trom the city of AnQka to discuss future plans for Ki'ng's Island. It <br />is staff's understanding that a public road from the city of Ramsey to King's Island in Anoka is <br />no longer needed. The city of Anoka. has been planning for a regional trail tb:ough King's. <br />Island, which requires a connection at the subject property in the city of Rarnaey. Sta.ff <br />re~ommends not vacating the easelnent as proposed by the Applicant until a tree inventory is <br />completed. Staff r~com.m.ends the Applicant propose a. trail alignment with a trail easement that <br />fits ,the vision of the Mississippi River regional trail plan and minimizes tree loss a.t the Final Plat <br />stage. ' <br /> <br />If there is a proposal to subdivide Outlot A in the future, staff notes that a secondary access <br />separate from Rivlyn Avenue will need to be addressed. <br /> <br />There currently' are four acceSS01]' structures ou the proposed Outlot A.
