Commercial use motor vehicles and equipment may be parked outside for <br />short-term periods (8 hours or less) or for long terms under the following <br />conditions: <br />(a) The vehicles and/or equipment shall be screened to a degree of 75% at <br />ground level view. <br />(b) The vehicles and/or equipment shall be parked only on the side yard or <br />rear yard of the subject property and said items shall be parked on a <br />residential parking surface that consists of either bituminous <br />pavement or concrete, or outside the boundaries of the MUSA on a <br />minimum of con bit or prepared gravel with at least 2 inch base. <br />(c) Commercial use vehicles and equipment intended to be parked outside <br />that cannot meet the criteria established In 3i and 3ii above but can <br />provide for alternatives to Same, shall be required to obtain an Interim <br />Use Permit. <br />4, Active agriculture vehicles and equipment necessary to sustain agricultural <br />uses are allowed and not required to be parked on prepared surfaces or <br />screened. <br />5. Private and/or commercial use type motor vehicles and equipment shall <br />not be parked on a parcel unless said personal property is owned or leased <br />by a person residing on the parcel, or owned or leased by the employer of <br />a person residing on the parcel. The Minnesota Department of Motor <br />Vehicles registration records shall be used to determine the owner of <br />registered vehicles and/or equipment and said owner's address. <br />9.11.09 Commerciala� nd Industrial Develonment Off -Street Parking <br />Subd. 1 General Provisions <br />a, Property that constitutes required off-street parking areas may not be <br />separated, through sale or other means, from the property containing the <br />principal use for which the parking area is required. <br />b. All off-street parking spaces shall- have access off driveways and not <br />. directly off the public street unless otherwise approved by City Council. <br />C.
