Should the various items above come in below the estimates, this case proposes the purchase and <br />installation of up to three trash receptacles, and four park benches. One of the benches would be <br />placed near the Mississippi River, and one along Riverdale Drive both of which are popular <br />walking routes. In no case will more than $45,000 be expended without Council authorization. <br />Annual Operating Investment; <br />Irrigation system annual operating costs are estimated at approximately $1,778 per acre (2009 <br />dollars). This includes water, electricity, repairs and maintenance activity such as winterization. <br />This project at 4 -acres then should be considered to require about $7,112 per year, in relation to <br />the General Fund budget.
