<br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-10-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2008 COMPREHENSIVE SURFACE WATER <br />MANAGEMENT PLAN; IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #07-24 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is in the process of updating their Comprehensive Plan, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a significant component of the Comprehensive Plan is a Surface Water <br />Management Plan (SWMP), and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the SWMP has been reviewed by the Lower Rum River Water Management <br />Organization and the Metropolitan Council, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Comments from these reviewing agencies have been incorporated into the final <br />SWMP. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby adopts the Comprehensive Surface Water <br />Management Plan <br /> <br />2) The SWMP shall be incorporated into the City's Comprehensive Plan and implemented <br />by City staff. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember _ <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />28th day ofOctober2008. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-10-XXX <br />Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br />-191- <br />
