· Note any messages sent to your store by Law Enforcement personnel
and take appropriate action in response.
· Note whether you have a report of any items being Redeemed prior to
the expiration of the legal holding period and contact your Jurisdiction
Administrator (contact at your local law enforcement agency) as soon
as possible about these matters.

:> You should correct any of the previous day's or outstanding errors, as
reported on your Log File, and re-send the files with the original dates for
those records you corrected to APS that night along with your current day's
transaction file. Aps will ignore the records already received and re-sent
without errors, it will update and load any records where errors have been
corrected. This will eliminate the records from the "Outstanding Errors"
section on your Store Log File.

Failure to correct and re-submit transaction records with errors will result in
these records not being uploaded to APS. As a result, you will not be in
compliance with State and local reporting requirements.

Considerations:

· Staff working in your store at closing time should have the ability, knowledge
and training to create and send files to APS or you will have to make
arrangements to have this done every day.

· Staff working in your store at opening time should have the ability,
knowledge and training to opentheemailed Store Log File, decrypt, and
prInt it. They should also be able to review and respond to items transmitted
in it, or you will have to make arrangements to have this done every day.

If you have any problems or questions about your responsibilities or these
procedures contact your local law enforcement agency or System Administrator
for clarification.

P:\WORD\APS\!Contacts\!Forms\New Contributing Agency Info\Overview Daily Procedure.doc
