Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #08- 11 -XXX <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO HARDRIVES INC. FOR IP 08- <br />35 EAST RAMSEY PARKWAY WEARCOURSE <br />WHEREAS, on June 24, 2008 the Ramsey City Council authorized the solicitation of <br />bids from plans prepared by staff; and. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Improvement Project 08 -35, East <br />Ramsey Parkway Bituminous Wear Course, bids were received, opened and tabulated according <br />to law; and <br />WHEREAS, WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson <br />has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Hardrives Inc. in the <br />amount of $152,231.16. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Hardrives Inc. for <br />Improvement Project 08 -36 in the amount of $152,231.16. <br />That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of November 25, 2008. <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />RESOLUTION #08- 11 -XXX <br />Page 1of2 <br />—119— <br />
