-214—
4, 2008 Coco seriously injured my dog in an attack, and had to be taken to an emergency veterinary
clinic that evening. The next day I filed a police report with officer Schiferli with the Ramsey police
department. I have enclosed a copies of :
- Police Department Report
-Notice of Potentially Dangerous Dog Citing
- Veterinary Invoice with Procedure Breakdown
- Follow -up Request Letter
- Attorney Request Letter with Legal Action
Other times I have witnessed her dogs chasing deer through my back yard, which I also have
informed her of, only to get the same responses.
I know one thing. We have been neighbors for a long time and I have done my best to be friendly,
patient, understanding, and hospitable. But if my dog had done damages to her home or pets I
would have done the neighborly thing. I would take responsibility for my pets, for myself, make
some type of amends, and also compensated them for any losses which may have occurred. Ms.
Olson has done none of these, and yet still wants the privilege of applying for a kennel license.
Please call Tom Patchen or Patricia Perkins who are very close neighbors. They are willing to speak
to an investigator if they have any question as to the validity of my claims.
I ask that the Planning Commission review all of the facts of this issue. It is not the fault of the dogs
but of the owners who are responsible for their actions. The issue is not so much whether Ms.
Olson should be granted a kennel license, but whether she should be allowed to even keep dogs and
produce litters of puppies. Please deny her the license and look into true facts:
Very truly yours,
ulian B. Kycia
