3. 2030 Traffic Forecasts <br />Significant development is expected in Ramsey over the next 22 years. The 2030 <br />housing, population, and employment forecasts show significant growth from 2008 to <br />2030. These increases are expected to have substantial impacts on the transportation <br />system. Revised traffic forecasts from the Anoka County 2030 Transportation Plan <br />model were adjusted per updated City of Ramsey land use changes to prepare 2030 <br />traffic forecasts. <br />At the request of the Metropolitan Council, traffic forecasts for the 2030 roadway <br />system with a new Mississippi River bridge were also prepared. These wzreusing the <br />revised 2030 Anoka County forecasts and then adjusted to accour:fre roadway <br />alternative. A second set of 2030 forecasts are included for refer urges only <br />and are based on the bridge location as proposed by Anoka County. <br />The City is currently divided up into 10 Traffic Analysis _r5s = ilstrated on <br />Figure VI -3.
